Promoter of the organisation is Sqn.Ldr.M.V.Uthaman, ex-Air Force officer, an excellent administrator, a visionary & highly educated person with the greatest inspiration plans & ideas which evolve in his ever dynamic mind which ultimately lead to the formation of Capro Labs.
A man with vision, great compassion &sensitivity towards the development of humanity. Well known for his generosity a galore. Participating continuously in the social activities for the upliftment & development of the underprivileged. Contributor to many a relief funds & presently also the President of the Rotary Club, Rajmahal Vilas, Bangalore, India.

Management:
The company is managed by people with long standing expertise & Experience in the Pharma field as well as other fields. Over the years extensive knowledge has also been acquired, which has helped in a better & crystal clear understanding of the needs of the modern man & the environment we cohesively habitat.

Company Profile, objectives, infrastructure:
Capro Labs was established in the year 1986 started with the sole purpose of providing cure to all fellow human from all possible ailments with help of the ancient science "Ayurveda". Nature has provided for us, to live our life to our fullest, in the utmost healthy manner & Capro utilises these resources for a better life, now & for further. Having started with a humble beginning with a single product i.e. Protein Capsules & now has grown to possess 20 plus excellent formulations covering major segments for all chronic diseases. We are proud to be rubbing shoulders with the elite business houses, in the same field.

Capro Labs are the pioneers/trendsetters in bringing the Ayurvedic proprietary formulations in the "Capsule form".

Capro Labs present plant spread over 12000 sqft of area - where in the various processes of Manufacturing, Research & Development, Quality Control etc., are taken care of . We have a committed work force consisting of panel of Doctors, Pharmacist & other Scientists and highly skilled people, working in different disciplines and departments with the sole purpose of synthesising their efforts to bring in more to the world a range of products covering majority of the human system ranging from Cardio-Vascular to Gastro-Intestinal to Nervous system to Dermatology etc. The research department ensures that every batch of products being manufactured have undergone sufficient quality control tests and procedures ranging from Pharmacology, Phytochemistry, Microbiology etc. Our obsession for excellence and quality matching with the modern standards and drug system has made Capro Labs a force to reckon with latest sophisticated equipment and machinery are utilised in the all departments to ensure and establish highest quality and standards.

As a company, which has never compromised on quality, in this transient business environment despite the toughest challenges, it has been our endeavour to pursue fresh ideas and hence has lead to germination of our find/discovery of formulations to cure diseases like Cancer, Cardiac related problem, Hypertension, etc., We hope to find cure for diseases like AIDS in near future.

Due to shortage of area, expansion plans had been hampered, hence we have procured additional area in a nearby industrial estate, in order to churn out additional product range and bringing in variety to our range of products in terms of liquid orals, Injectibles etc.

With an eye on the future Capro has procured few acres of land for the cultivation / plantation of these depleting resource raw materials in order to ensure continuous supply and ensuring a more healthy environment.

Other Ventures:
We have diversified our operations into the field of veterinary products, started a chain of clinics, under the name of Care'N Clinic, where from we have treated patients, for various ailments, successfully. We have also started a Hospital also offering treatment on other lines or methods of Ayurvedic treatment like Panchakarma. With a view to offer better services to our esteemed clients we have separated our marketing operations, now handled by our Marketing division under the name "Capro Marketing".

Exports, now is our cliche for the new millennium. With a desire to provide the best of the world, now after having established ourselves in India we are in the process of expanding our business clientele across the Globe.

Brief on Ayurveda
Ayurveda, the Indian system of medicine - has two parts - " Ayu" & " Veda",
which indicated "life" & "science" - hence the meaning "Science of Life". Ayurveda is traditionally eternal & hence no beginning, this is said because it has been impossible for man to find the time of its origin, but can be traced back over 6000 years. Ayurveda is not confined to medicine alone but encompasses the total sweep of "Life-Sciences". It continues the quest for understanding life. Hence an "Inexhaustible Science of Life".

A lot of changes/adulteration have been made over the centuries, information of this science has been damaged/lost during various foreign invasions. Ayurveda has also been the victim of misinterpretation made by various scholars of the subject. A significant part had been salvaged, which today, is being utilised to it utmost potential for harmony of mind & body leading towards progressive cohesion. Ayurveda deals with longevity & rejuvenation.

Ayurveda has eight branches that range from "General medicine, Surgery, Toxicology to Paediatrics etc. Ayurveda is based on the theory of Tridoshas - "Vata", "Pitta" & "Kapha", also called the "Biological humors". These forces are produced in the body due to the combination of one or more of the following five elements i.e., Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether and hence there exists a natural harmony between the Universe and the Man.

The mode of treatment , under the "Modern System of Medicine", are based on the symptoms of the affected parts. Under the principles of Ayurveda individuals are treated as a whole i.e., it has a patient-oriented approach. Rather a "Person" than a "Case". The principles state that the diseases are caused due to the imbalance of the Tridoshas.

An important message of Ayurveda is health cannot be provided or delivered. It has to be practised by "Swastha-Vritha" (i.e., Healthy Conduct ) and "Sad-Vritha" ( Moral & Ethical Conduct ) explained in Ayurveda.

Season, Herbs and Mineral are also classified as per Tridoshic characters and actions. Following the simple rules of conduct and behaviour in relation of food, exercise, sleep, personal cleanliness to "maintain positive health" and having proper nutrition, exercise healthy life-style and to learn to cope up with stress in the daily lives. These are the basic emphasis in Ayurveda.

Currently there is a public interest all over the world in Alternatives to Modern Medicines. This only shows the urgency in comprehending AYURVEDA and its time-tested remedies to eradicate diseases and to live life fruitfully. Because very soon AYURVEDA is going to be the Global Medical Science because of its rich life principles and its therapeutic approach eliminating the diseases and restoring health.

Inaccessibility to doctors, poor communication between doctors and patients, excessive prescribing and high cost of treatment and the potential dangers of adverse effects of modern medicines, all these are paving way of AYURVEDA to have a global effect because of its safe and efficacious remedies.
